The visuals have been remastered using more modern tools to update the look of what was a pretty dreary looking world to be a higher resolution dreary looking world. While not incredibly enticing, the name is an accurate description of the game. Before releasing number 5, though, Rebellion has released an updated Sniper Elite 2, which they have given the not all that imaginative name Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. Sniper Elite 4 is a rock solid game and the imminent Sniper Elite 5 will more than likely be even better. Consider the Sniper Elite series - each was good enough to warrant another sequel, and each sequel made significant improvement to gameplay, mechanics, and, of course, graphics. That rarely happens in Hollywood, and it rarely doesn’t happen with games. A number of reasons exist for that, and one of them is when the sequels are vastly better than the early releases.
